Drug Uses
Nolvadex is used for treatment of breast cancer that has spread to other sites in the body. It is also used along with other medicines to treat other types of breast cancer. It is used in women who are at high risk for breast cancer and in women with DCIS (after surgery and radiation) to decrease the risk of developing breast cancer. It may also be used for other condition as recommended by your physician.
How Taken
Use Nolvadex with a glass of water as ordered by your doctor. Take Nolvadex with or without a food. Swallow this drug whole. Do not break, crush, or chew before swallowing. Continue to take Nolvadex even if you feel well. Do not miss any doses. Taking Nolvadex at the same time each day will help you to remember to take it.

Nolvadex can cause dizziness. These effects may worsen if Nolvadex is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Take Nolvadex with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you react to this drug. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, contact your doctor. Nolvadex should be used only by the patient for whom it has been prescribed. Do not take less or more or take it more often than prescribed by your physician.
